FERMOY QUAD ACHIEVE BRONZE AT GHENT INTERNATIONAL REGATTA
Last Friday morning months of Training and preparation came to fruition for the Fermoy Junior 16 ladies touched down on Belgian soil to begin a weekends racing at the 11th international Flemish Championships for Juniors. The event attracted over 2000 rowers, from 16 countries accross Europe and further afield. Fermoy's Sarah Mrrphy, Amy Walsh, Selina Cotter and Katie Bartley, accompanied by Coach Rhonda Murphy and Ms Walsh, had been preparing for months for the trip, raising sufficient funds to send them to this prestigious regatta, which is considered one of the best Junior regatta in its class, none the less the girls took this in their stride as they showed the international stage just what Fermoy rowers could do!

St. Patrick's Day festivities 2014
Club Chairman Patrick Granville would like to invite all club members past and present to join in the Fermoy Rowing Club St. Patrick's Day festivities. Those wishing to march in the parade are asked to assemble at the club house at 10 AM on Monday morning for the annual club photograph. From there we will make our way to the start of the parade joined by our Ruderclub Germania Dusseldorf friends. Following the parade all are invited back to the club house for some light refreshments and food. Entertainment will be laid on in the club house to celebrate the annual arrival of Ruderclub Germania Dusseldorf.
